Twitter

We have a growing number of followers on Twitter. We see Twitter as a valuable way of linking and communicating with other literary types, disseminating the research we publish here, and engaging in the fine art of ‘micro-blogging’. Our followers include avid readers, teachers, students, academics, the QI Elves (the researchers behind the hit BBC/Talkback TV programme, who have described our Twitter feed as ‘quite brilliant’), the two official Twitter accounts of the Oxford English Dictionary, the British Library, the British Museum, the Ashmolean, the Times Literary Supplement, author J. K. Rowling, broadcaster Fiona Phillips, newsreader and journalist Kate Silverton, novelist James Patterson, actor Brendan Coyle, DJ Pete Donaldson, columnists Andrew Copson and Allison Pearson, playwright Bonnie Greer, authors Katie Fforde and John O’Farrell, presenter and writer Dawn O’Porter, MP Stella Creasy, comedians Roisin Conaty, Simon Evans, Justin Moorhouse, and Sara Pascoe, poet and broadcaster Ian McMillan, composer Esa-Pekka Salonen, TV presenter and gastronome Loyd Grossman, TV presenter Gail Porter, and Barry from Eggheads. Come and join the conversation!
